Jillian has been described as all of these things by those closest to her, and she is excited to be adding ‘sports bar owner’ to the list! With a background in team development, event management, and results-oriented leadership, Jillian has been prepping for this role for years. While her glory days as a three-sport athlete in high school are long behind her, she has taken the skills she learned on the field and in life and applied them to this exciting new venture.

Jillian is a season ticket holder for both the Minnesota Lynx and the University of Minnesota Gophers Softball team, as well as a community owner of the Minnesota Aurora FC. She and her wife Megan continue to play on community sports teams (Stonewall Sports and WHAM, respectively) and are passionate about gender equity in sports and in life.

Jillian strongly believes in the power of community and looks forward to the connections that will be created through A Bar of Their Own.
